My Thoughts About P3nis Enlargement & Some Stats …

Popularity: 50%

Okay, I’ll agree that the title is not exactly one the most fancy ones that I have managed to pull out, but read on and you’ll get the essence …

I just got back from yet another of my “leisure roams” and decided to “surf up” before hitting the bed. Well, having decided not to do any work I took the liberty to check my virtual spaces on Orkut and Facebook as well as dabble around in some of the forums that I actively participate in.

While going through one of the forums, I noticed a thread where they were discussing some free SEO Tools offered by WeBuildPages. Having read about the company earlier and blogged about Co-citation Link Building (which was propagated by Jim Boykin, CEO of WeBuilPages.com) I generally felt like adding my 2 pence. It was while googling for my blog posts and looking for the search terms I rank well for, I came across a rather shocking but funny piece of text. I’ll say no more, just take a look and you would be able to make out …

Google had indexed the page and was showing some part of the page comment text along with my blog’s meta description and I guess what followed was just sheer misfortune for my expert image … lol !!

Although, I wonder how many takers I would have if I were to establish myself as an expert at P^nis enlargement. Umm … judging by the spam that is overflowing the world wide web for the term I guess … I would be rolling in millions … $$$

I have now deleted the spammy comment, but was quite shaken as it never got caught by my super spam filter and I obviously I wanted to study it. Turns out the spammers have done a neat job of posting some relevant content in the comment box. Check out the original comment and you’ll realise the irony in it …

What followed was a harrowed search for similar comments on my blog and I think (hopefully) I have got rid of them (not that I found any!) … I also ended up checking my stats after almost a lifetime-gone-by and found what is *HOT* on my blog these days.

Here are a few top finds which have been recently driving quite some traffic …

1. I recently blogged about Firefox’s amazing phishing guard
and that has put my blog on #2 for an interesting search term. Check out …

2. An up and coming (questionable??) search engine from India, Guruji.com rates me #2 for the term “youtube” ahead of YouTube.com itself !!

3. My blog post on Reservation for OBC in India is still drawing a lot of views (beating dedicated blogs and Wikipedia :), thanks to a good google ranking. It’s surprising to know that people are still interested in this topic.

4. There were also some clicks for the search term “chakravyu”, for which I rank ahead of my pal Abhimanyu Radhakrishnan who recently launched his own blog called Life In The Chakravyu.

There were a few other terms, but I choose to leave them considering the fact that its past 3AM and I am still notoriously blogging!

Lastly, I pulled out the traffic stats for my blog since I launched it last year. It’s good to see that even when I don’t get much time to blog these days, the content I have posted over the period of time still gets me sizeable traffic.

I guess this post will turn out to be the one with the maximum screenshots ever … lol !

Chao … Till I blog again :thumbup_tb:

Hey Saumil, some great info for people who are gathering info about SEO here (like me!) It seems that search engines have a sense of humour after all! P.S. coming here via - SS Forum, I have to load it twice before page appears… thought this may interest you. Or not! ;)

Interesting post. For the first point, I am wondering haven’t u set the system to email you whenever a new comment is posted? That ways you’d have caught the spam comment and flushed it out… :flush_tb:

@Kedar I do have the email feature on, but somehow SK2 never sent me an email when that comment was posted. Seems some sneaky tools those spammers are using !! ~ saumil

the notification was probably caught as spam by your email’s spam filter :lol_wp:

@kris absolutely possible, given the fact that the notifications include the name of the commenter, I am sure the mail filters would not have had a tough time discarding someone called P***s Enlargement :smiley2_tb:
