A Free and Open Educational Resource by IITs …

Following on the lines of MIT’s OCW initiative, the Indian Institutes of Technology (and IISc) along with the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India, have started a National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL). The main objective of this program is to enhance quality of engineering education in the country by developing curriculum based video and web courses and web courses.

Many professors from all the IITs have provided course materials for various subjects. Any one can access the course material, following a very simple registration process.

3] Sign up as a NEW USER

Also read about Eklavya, a technology channel promoted by the IITs, designed to air courses on various disciplines, created at the various IITs on weekdays and special interest programs on sundays.
