The Master Returns …

Words just can’t do enough justice to describe the sheer brilliance of India’s batting maestro - Sachin Tendulkar. Having stayed out of international cricket for quite sometime, Sachin Tendulkar announced his return to the game with a classy century against West Indies.

The little master, who had been out of action since March after undergoing shoulder surgery, smashed an aggressive 141 off 148 balls in the day-night one-dayer at the Kinrara Oval, belting 5-sixers in his unbeaten knock. On a pitch of unreliable bounce, Tendulkar played an innings of high technical excellence to craft his 40th(whoooaaa!) one-day hundred.

With rumours over his fitness floating around lately, I really wanted Sachin to perform. I saw him play in a charity game(World XI v/s Pakistan) here in London a couple of months back, where he hammered a 50 off just 30-odd balls, and knew that he still is ‘The Best’ ! It was only a matter of time before he could put an end to all rumours. And with his knock yesterday which included 13 fours and five sixes, Sachin indicated that he was at his best, the 41 singles and nine twos he ran proved his fitness beyond doubt.

Here is a small clip to celebrate the return of the legend. Enjoy the one and only Sachin Tendulkar …

Talking of legends, F1 Icon (and my personal favourite) - Micheal Schumacher, has decided to retire at the end of this season. My friend Kedar, who happens to be a huge fan of Schumi, has posted some an interesting post. Check it out at - The Man. The Icon. The Legend
