Google Adsense Site Diagnostics …
After a temporary test, by Google’s Adsense team in June .. it seems Big G has finally rolled out their new Site Diagnostics Tool. Following is a screenshot of the new Tab that was added to my (and mostly all other adsense publisher accounts) …
The section will ideally report the Google Adsense-Bot’s accessibilty to your websites / URLs. If our the bot is having trouble reaching any of your pages, you’ll see those URLs listed in the Blocked URLs section of the Site Diagnostics table.
At the moment, Google claims to be displaying two types of errors:
1. URL not found – this means our crawler wasn’t able to reach your pages, most likely because your server was temporarily down
2. Robots.txt file – this indicates that your robots.txt file was blocking our crawler from visiting
I haven’t seen any of my URLs pop up in that list (whoaa .. that’s good for me !) but keep an eye on other blogs and you may find someone reporting the issues.
