Blog Blast & A Good Read …

Its been estimated by Technorati that over 75,000 blogs are being added to the WWW’s blogosphere everyday. That’s like having a blog every second !!

I tried to look for some more interesting figures and landed on David Sifry’s blog. Here are some images that will give you an idea of the phenomenal growth that ‘blogs’ have acheived.

- The blogosphere is doubling in size every 6 months
- It is now over 60 times bigger than it was 3 years ago
- On average, a new weblog is created every second of every day
- 19.4 million bloggers (55%) are still posting 3 months after their blogs are created

While the netizens of the world keep adding more and more blogs, I would like to share with you a new blog that has been started by a person whom I have known for quite some time now ! (never seen, never met) He goes by the name of Marc Quarles and is responsible for making some of the best IM softwares, I have ever used (also responsible for adding some $’s to my bank account … lol.. !) I believe you can learn a lot from his experience, so make the most of it while he is sharing it all ! Check out his blog !
