I guess I love using titles which absolutely make no sense … ! But, isnt that what draws you in to read my posts and know for yourself what I was trying to say? Well, whatever you think .. lemme know in the comments section. For now, I’ll just proceed to writing more about my crazy title !

Well, Blogging is cool ! And however silly it might be for some people, I must confess I am totally in love with this unique medium. There are a few blogs that I regularly visit, some for learning new stuff, some for fun and some to waste my time ! What I wanted to share today, was what my friends have been blogging about ….

As a 7-yr old, the best profession I thought, would be to fly airplanes. And so, when anyone asked me about my ambition in life, I would react in a flash by saying “When I Grow Up I want to be a Pilot ! ”

Well … well … that was 18 years ago, and the closest I have got to being a pilot in all these years, was when I played MS Flight Simulator at my pal Kedar’s place. And I did a terrible job at that.

I was over at Jim Boykin’s blog reading about the Co-citation theory which he (and I in my last post) blogged on. While at his blog I also noticed his post on a $39 experiment by Tom Locke. Tom is an average guy (as he claims to be) who happened to run an experiment with a roll of stamps worth $39. What he did was write letters to various companies seeking freebies… ! You an check out Tom Locke’s $39 experiment webpage here. What he has also pulled off is a great viral marketing stunt which has earned him lots of links(and publicity) all over the net, and also a PR of 7…. ! I could figure that Tom is now making money selling links from his high PR page (scroll right down on his webpage)

I came across a very interesting article on link building and thought I should share it. Its about co-citation, i.e. what other sites that link to you say about you. It is interesting for 2 main reasons : One, because it will help you in understanding how search engines will evaluate your link building efforts, and Two, because it represents a major trend of all search engines towards becoming more ‘natural’.

When you read the following article try to draw an analogy with ‘Social Proof’ aspect. It is very similar to what we have in normal lives !
