My unrelenting wait for the Amazon mail man finally came to an end when I spotted a bulky brown package lying near the house entrance. I must have been away when the courier got delivered. But anyways, that’s not the point. The point however is, why I was waiting so desperately for the package to arrive?

Well, to make a long story short … I have grown to be huge fan of Guy Kawasaki’s in a very short period of time. Its not that I haven’t had my heroes and gurus whom I admire, but there is something about Guy and the way he communicates that has left a deep impression on me.

And that led me to log on to Amazon, and order his book The Art of the Start ! Having read the reviews of the book, it was only natural for me to start reading it asap, and that is why I was desperate for the book to arrive !

         

I figured that the book cost me just under 15£, making me vulnerable to the shipping cost. (which was 2.75£) Being a hardcore gujju, I quickly searched the ‘Quick Reads’ section and located a ‘cost-effective’ (cannot call any book cheap) option - this was “Screw It, Lets Do It - by Richard Branson”. So I piggybacked the Branson book alongwith (read ‘on the’) the Kawasaki and made sure the total amount crossed £15. Once that was done, I was good to go .. as per Amazon.co.uk I qualified for a free shipping .. whoa !

About having a category on Books

Having a seperate category for books seemed to me like a very logical and obvious decision as I always wanted to share with you, worthy viewers, the books I read. Some prove to be helpful, some are life changing and a very few(almost none) are a waste of my(and probably your) time !

In this category, I plan to write specifically about 3 things -

1. Reviews of the books
2. Creditable Excerpts
3. My thoughts on any especial lessons that I learn
